The Restored Back of Unity in the United Methodist Church Nigeria After 14 years of crisis and divisions.

The United Methodist Church has been involved in a crisis that damaged the church's image in previous years, which caused conflict with another family, hatred among friends, and many shameful acts that gave the church a bad name.

The new move of the church unity sparked the media with a lot of questions and surprise, about the church hosting a joint session of the five annual conferences and two distinct conferences of Senegal and Cameroon. The Convention was held at Gym Hall, Jolly Nyame Stadium, Jalingo, Taraba State.

Given a report by the new bishop, Bishop Ande Emmanuel, give statistics of the people's presence in the convention.

726 clergy delegates!, 761 lay delegates!, 2688 visitors! , 2981 observers! Given a total number of 7156 Members' presence.

The Bishop wrote on his verified Facebook handle:

It was such a powerful moment for people called United Methodists in Nigeria. Last year's false information went around the connection that Nigeria has left the United Methodist Church- today it is clear that the United Methodist Church remains the biggest and the strongest.

The United Methodist Church of Nigeria coming back in unity is a testament to the new leadership efforts restoring peace and forgiveness to reconcile together under the same umbrella of the gospel and bodies. Many lives were lost during the crisis. Members have changed denominations, and some have quit Christianity, but today the future of the United Methodist Church is being reshaped into a new dimension.
